For the second single from his forthcoming album Green Language, Rustie has released one of the songs that we were most anticipating when we saw the tracklist, the Danny Brown collaboration “Attak.” Although the new track isn’t a totally accurate reflection of the direction of Rustie’s sweeping and ambitious new album, it is an absolute gem, and probably his best collaboration with Danny Brown to date. Earlier today, we highlighted Rustie as one of the 20 producers expanding the sound of hip-hop, and “Attak” just confirms that.
“Attak” follows the monstrous “Raptor.” Green Language is out August 25 via Warp.
