Listen to "Back Then," Skepta's New Song With Plastician

None

Plastician is a true grime OG from back in the day, but as a producer, DJ, and head of the label Terrorhythm he has never stopped evolving and moving forward, exploring sounds from all over the electronic spectrum. Just check out any of his weekly Rinse FM shows—the tracklists are incredibly varied, drawing from talent across the world, and hitting you with delicate electronics from the deepest depths of Souncloud one moment, L.A. beat scene gems the next, and tough grime the next.

Just last week Plastician shared a hard new grime tune called “London Living” with up-and-coming MC Jammz (check that out below), and during last night’s Rinse show he dropped another big new track, this time with Skepta. The track is called “Back Then,” and sees Skepta going in over Plastician’s 2005 grime remix of Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin’.”

You can catch the track just after the 1 hour 56 minute mark of the show below, and, as Plastician mentions, the full version will be put on Skepta’s Soundcloud sometime soon. We will update the post with the full version of the song when it’s live.

UPDATE: Here’s the full version of Plastician and Skepta’s “Back Then.”

Here’s the original beat from 2005, a remix of Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin’
