British singer/songwriter/producer Ed Thomas was featured on Chase & Status’ most recent album and wrote Bondax’s song “Giving It All.” Now he’s stepping out on his own with his debut solo release, the self-produced “On My Own.” There are certainly similarities between this song and Bondax’s own music, but “On My Own” has more of a throwback ’80s feel, with the yearning vocals and chunky bass.
