A few months ago, Snakehips joined forces with Tory Lanez for Adidas Originals’ Songs From Scratch series to create an unexpected, but great collaboration. Now they’re back with yet another unexpected collaboration that is just as enjoyable. This time, Snakehips teams up with Tinashe and Chance The Rapper for their latest single “All My Friends.”
Snakehips slows things down just a bit for this new single. The mid-tempo beat feels fitting for Tinashe to open up the track. By the chorus, the rhythm is sped up just slightly enough to blend with Chance’s natural energy. The tempo fits each artist’s personal style as well as the subject matter. It feels like the perfect turn-down track to match the feelings of the chorus: “All my friends are wasted/ and I hate this club/ man I drink too much/ another Friday night I wasted.”
