Since Drake surprised everyone with If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late back in February, SoundCloud has been flooded with more remixes and edits than anyone could possibly keep up with. But only a handful have really been worth sharing.
The latest, impressive edit comes from Jacques Greene. Greene put his own special touch on “Know Yourself” by stripping the beat down to nearly the skeleton and rebuilding his own sound on top of the foundation. The dreamy sound that begins “Know Yourself” is quite crucial so it thankfully remains all throughout the edit.
Jacques Greene’s edit was featured on the first OVO Sound Radio Show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 last week, which you can listen to in its entirety here.
