At the end of last year, we heard previews of Charli XCX’s single “Vroom Vroom” but today we’re finally met with an official release of the Sophie-produced track. Charli knows the key to making a catchy song that you can’t help but love, and she proves it with yet another infectious banger.
Charli’s latest single is released via Vroom Vroom Recordings. The singer followed up her new track with the announcement that she was starting her own label. “Vroom Vroom Recordings is my new, experimental pop label and it will combine my love for bubblegum pop with mystery and darkness,” Charli explained to The FADER. “The artists coming up through it will be sharp, potent, deadly, and ultimately, will leave their mark on pop music.”
Alongside Charli’s own new single, Vroom Vroom Recordings also releases songs from two artists on the label—RIVRS and CuckooLander. The three new singles preview the diversity Charli XCX has in mind for her new label.
