It's been twenty years since Biggie passed away, but his influence on hip-hop remains. Next month, A&E is releasing a Biography documentary special on his life and work called Biggie: The Life of the Notorious B.I.G., and the trailer features rap heavyweights discussing his genius.

"He used words that weren't typical for the lexicon of hip-hop," Jay Z says, mentioning that his sounds "moved the molecules in the world."

"He had more than just rap," Nas adds. "He had the look, he had the presence. To this day, he’s one of the greatest ever to touch the mic. Ever."

The documentary will air on September 4 and feature interviews with other artists like 2 Chainz, T-Pain, and Mike Will Made It. Watch the trailer above.
