Summer is upon us, which means it's time to fight about 2017's song of the summer. Calvin Harris, Quavo, and Frank Ocean submitted their application with "Slide" way back in February, but they were challenged by Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, DJ Khaled, and many others as spring ran its course. Is it a completely subjective distinction? Perhaps. But year after year, we get heated about it anyway.
So instead of arguing amongst ourselves in an air-conditioned skyscraper, P&P's public correspondent Angelito hit the streets of New York to take the temperature with regards to 2017's song of the summer.
