Earlier this year, Just Blaze and Swizz Beatz went beat for beat in an incredible battle that took place on Instagram live, where to two super producers created beats on the spot. As expected, the battle was met with high praise and excitement. Since then, fans have been coming up with their own pairings of who should be up next to battle.
Fans will be excited to know that the next battle might be happening much sooner than later. Last night, Just Blaze took to Twitter to announce that he had just gotten off the phone with Timbaland. He revealed that Timbaland agreed to go up against Pharrell for another round of this beat battle. Both of these Virginia natives have known each other for decades and worked with many of the same artists, but they each have very distinct sounds that would guarantee to make this beat battle an event to be seen.

While Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze's beat battle sparked conversations of various dream battles, many of those have yet to come into fruition. However, Pharrell and Timbaland have already posted photos and videos of their recent studio sessions. The possibility of getting these two to take some time out of their busy schedules for what could be another epic battle seems far more likely.
