Last summer, we introduced many of you to Darkness via his Eski Thug EP, and today the London-based grime producer gets a heaping helping of fiery bars from the one and only Rocks FOE for "Question That." It's the first single from Darkness' new label, Quantum Sound—what a way to kick off an imprint.

In terms of sounds, this one is a monster. Stuttering kicks are punctuated with a weighty snare, but those drums are pushed a bit back by the intergalactic low-end that he threw in the mix. It's one of those mid-tempo scorchers that you'll keep rewinding. "[Rocks FOE] wanted the beat," Darkness explains, "and I had no problems with sending it to him because I knew he'd write something crazy and creative." FOE did just that, dipping his pen into his mental and touching on everything from flashy mans to the current social ills between black men and the police. Basically, everything you need to be questioning.

You can stream "Question That" in its entirety below, and cop it when it drops via Quantum Sound on October 20.
