Earlier this month, there was news that there could be a full Bad Boy reunion tour, but now it appears that this special event will occur for just one night only. The late Notorious B.I.G. would have been 44 years old this coming May. As his birthday approaches, Puff Daddy and the rest of the Bad Boy family plans to celebrate accordingly with a big reunion show in Biggie’s hometown of Brooklyn.
The Bad Boy Family Reunion will take place on Friday, May 20 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The lineup is expected to be stacked with guest appearances from Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112, Mario Winans, and Mary J. Blige. There is also a special performance by Jay Z in the works for the evening.
Just days ago it was also reported that Biggie’s widow and singer Faith Evans wasn’t shying away from the possibility of featuring a hologram of him on stage during live performances for her upcoming joint album with him. However, it doesn’t seem likely that we’ll see any holograms of Biggie at the Bad Boy Reunion.
