Early this morning (or late last night, whatever you prefer), BBC One’s Benji B gifted his loyal listeners a welcome run of Jamie Woon records. Two of the three songs are unreleased cuts from the UK-based multi-talent’s forthcoming album.
Among those tracks played is “Sharpness,” the Londoner’s recently unveiled single and a worthwhile return after four years without releasing material. Easygoing shakers, rhythmic subtleties, and vocals both pure and vocoded lace the work shared by Benji on-air. The last song is titled “Forgiven.”
