Those who follow photographer Cam Kirk on tumblr, already know that he has taken many great shots of artists like Future, Young Thug, Drake, Rae Sremmurd, and plenty more. But his most recognizable work may be the photographs he’s taken of Gucci Mane. In fact, many of the Gucci Mane photos that are often circulated, were taken by Cam Kirk. Because he has so many rare shot of Gucci, Cam Kirk decided to open an exhibit in Atlanta to properly display his work for fans.

Unlike most art exhibits, this one will not be held within any ordinary art gallery. Instead, the photos will be displayed in an old church in East Atlanta that has since been transformed into a trap house—a more fitting venue. Cam Kirk began shooting photos of Gucci Mane early on in his career and says that this exhibit will be a way for him to close the chapter on those old images.

Kirk told Complex, “I have some really iconic photos. So, I came up with the idea to do a gallery. I didn’t want to do something typical; I wanted to have fun with it and I wanted it to represent Gucci Mane and his impact.” The exhibit will feature photos from the now infamous “Gucci Balboa” shoot, the images that inspired the Trap House III cover, as well as many other never-before-seen photos.

The Trap God exhibit is a one-day only event taking place in East Atlanta on May 30 from 3 to 7 p.m. In order to receive more details, you must RSVP to the e-mail address events@TheCamKirk.com. However, Cam Kirk plans to take his exhibit to New York after the Atlanta showing, so there may be more than one chance to witness this special experience.
