On Monday, Jay Z announced his new plans for Tidal—the streaming service that he recently purchased for $56 million. The service was labeled as “the first ever artist owned global music and entertainment platform.” With so many other streaming services currently available, there had to be something special that Tidal could offer in order to grab the attention of future subscribers—especially with a price of $20 a month.

Besides offering higher audio quality, another one of the major selling points will be exclusive content. So far the list of exclusive content available on Tidal features content from some of the co-owners themselves, including Rihanna, Daft Punk, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Jay Z and Beyoncé—to name a few.

Rihanna’s latest single “BBHMM” is currently only streaming on Tidal. New behind-the-scene footage and bonus footage from Daft Punk’s film Electroma is streaming in high quality. Previously unreleased footage from Alicia Keys’ 2012 show at Madison Square Garden is also currently available. And because the exclusive content wouldn’t feel completely without something from Jay Z and Beyoncé, they each created their own playlists of some of their songs to share with fans. So maybe Tidal is worth the hefty subscription price after all.
