In recent years the Album of the Year nominations for Barclaycard Mercury Prize have showcased just how diverse British music has become. This year’s nominees have brought a variation of sounds to the charts. Some of the artists included are acts such as FKA Twigs, Jungle, Young Fathers, Damon Albarn, Bombay Bicycle Club and more. The list of nominations features many great albums which will only make the anticipation of hearing this year’s winner even more suspenseful. The winner will officially be announced at the Barclaycard Mercury Prize Awards Show at the Roundhouse on October 29th.
