Warpaint released their debut album, The Fool, in 2010. One change of drummer and four years later, the ladies are back with their self-titled sophomore album. It’s a hypnotic album that seems to reveal a band at ease with themselves and confident in their sound. From swirling, bewitching tracks like “Love Is To Die” and “Biggy” to more forthright numbers like “Disco // very,” Warpaint is an immersive and impressive record.
