Absolutely massive news for anyone even slightly interested in electronic music, as it seems that James Blake will interview the ever elusive Burial “in studio” on his debut BBC Radio 1 show tonight. Earlier today, Blake posted a Facebook status informing fans that tonight’s show would include new material from himself (including a Beyonce remix!), Lone, and Airhead, alongside interviews with grime artist Trim and the one-and-only Burial.
The Facebook post was quickly changed (see the updated version above), but not before someone took a picture, which you can see below.
The show will air tonight at midnight GMT which is 7pm EST. Listen here.
UPDATE: So, we were rather naive to believe that Blake would actually interview Burial, but he did have a chat to Trim and play a brand new song of his own, called “40455.” Check it out here.
