L.A. four-piece Warpaint will be back in early 2014 with a new album, and yesterday they shared the next single, “Biggy.” It’s a real slow-building beauty, starting with little more than an ominous synth and Emily Kokal’s ethereal voice, but by the two-and-a-half minutes in the sound is much richer and warmer, with some beautiful bass work and many layers of sound washing gently over the listener.
