Drake Boots Future Off His Tour For Being Too Real, $1.5 Million Lawsuit To Follow

None

Drake has booted Future off his “Would You Like a Tour?” over the following comment Future made to Billboard: “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”

Though Future’s camp says it was off the record and taken out of context, Billboard‘s Erika Ramirez tweeted it anyway, and hasn’t taken it down. Apparently, upon hearing the quote, a livid Drake demanded Future be immediately removed from the tour. Though the two were allegedly in talks to let Future back on the bill, those fell through when Drake pushed for Future to give up more pay. Now that he’s officially off the tour, Future is said to be preparing a lawsuit against Drake for roughly $1.5 million in lost wages. If we didn’t already know from his music how brutally honest Future was, now we know beyond a doubt.

UPDATE: Looks like Drake and Future have resolved their differences, and Future is officially back in the line-up. According to Drake’s tweet, PARTYNEXTDOOR will also join Drake, Future, and Miguel on Drizzy’s “Would You Like a Tour?”
