Trey Anastasio (Phish‘s frontman) isn’t one to stay in his lane, at least when it comes to covers. He’s done everything from Velvet Underground to Will Smith to The Beatles, and for his upcoming Traveler album, out October 16th, he’s chosen to put his own spin on “Clint Eastwood.” He gives it a slightly jazzy, more organic touch with the help of vocals from Jennifer Hartswick, and while Phish covering old Gorillaz isn’t the most exciting thing in the world, it sounds surprisingly good.
