A few weeks back, Zeds Dead spoke with Mixmag and mentioned they’d finished up a bootleg version of a Bon Iver track that they were planning on giving away for free. No date was given, nor did they even mention the track that got remixed, but this one seems to have made it’s way onto the ‘Net – and it’s a thing of beauty. The original’s an acapella chorus of vocals, whereas Zeds Dead unleashes a melancholy fury of dubstep excellence underneath those vocals. Don’t let anyone tell you that dubstep can’t ooze sex and depth.
