The BET Awards weekend started off peacefully, with 50 Cent and Fat Joe sharing a stage and shaking hands during the Chris Lighty tribute, but quickly descended into violence with Young Jeezy and Rick Ross having a shoving match that ended in gunfire. The violence of the award show continued, with reports of Rick Ross’ MMG affiliate Gunplay getting into a fight with 50 Cent’s G-Unit that was caught on camera. It’s hard to see everything that went on and depending on who you speak with, Gunplay was or was not arrested, but did come away with “visible wounds,” according to some sources, and it looks like he may have caught some pepper spray too.
