The Game took to Instagram on Tuesday to clear the air regarding some Nipsey Hussle-related lyrics he rapped following the death of Indian Red Boy.

Inglewood’s Indian Red Boy, born Zarial Rivera, was shot and killed last Thursday (June 8) while on Instagram Live. The Hawthorne Police Department said the murder appeared to be targeted, with online rumors speculating that the shooting was motivated by widespread reports that the rapper had either disrespected or vandalized a mural of the late Nipsey Hussle.

On Monday, the Game went live on Instagram to spit bars that referenced retaliating to Nipsey Hussle disrespect with violence.

“All white Air Force 1s/N***as coming through the hood with them air force guns,” he rapped. “We got more drakes than the Billboard/Disrespecting Nip, the type of shit you n***as get killed for/We not gon’ stand for the disrespect/Get this .45 Bell pressed against your neck.”

The Game took to Instagram Monday night to apologize for the lyrics, explaining that he wrote them months ago and meant no disrespect to Indian Red Boy.

“Understand that I meant no disrespect to no Pirus, no bloods, no L.A. n***as, no gangbangers, period,” Game said in a three-minute video. “Speaking on the Indian Red Boy situation, number one, R.I.P. to the homie. Love to his whole family, his close homies, the whole Inglewood family, and all the Pirus across the world, period.”

“I been wrote those bars, those bars been in my phone since May or April,” the Compton rapper continued. “Yesterday, I decided to put the shit out on the Live, bad timing on my behalf. I feel n***as, n***as feel like I disrespected somebody but it’s really just bad timing. On me, I’ma get with the big homies, some of the lil homies and I’ma get with blood’s family and help bury blood and throw some chips his way for the funeral.”

The Game also shared late Wednesday night a GoFundMe link for Indian Red Boy's funeral costs, notably donating $10,000 (the fundraiser's initial goal) himself. "Holla’d at the family & got it done as promised with my family," he captioned his post. "Don’t talk about it, be about it….Rest In Peace @indianredboy….I hope it helps you guys send him off the way he deserves to be….& from my loved ones to y’all, we send our condolences."

He added that people can contribute through the link in his bio, but noted "if you don't know L.A. gang culture or the politics out here shut the fuck up!!!! Tired of n***as just talkin to be talkin on here while homies out here gettin slaughtered over dumb shit!!!! #WeAllGottaDoBetter."

With Game’s $10K, the fundraiser has currently raked in $11,299.
