It feels like just yesterday that Loski released his debut album, Music, Trial & Trauma: A Drill Story. It was a monumental opening gambit and its singles are still on heavy rotation, but that was almost a year ago. He’s hardly been quiet since then, and today he returns with a new set in the 10-track EP Censored.

The new project was announced just last month via his Instagram and follows August’s “P.U.G”, September’s “Rolling Stones” and the Suspect-assisted “Woosh & Push”. To celebrate the release, Loski also dropped off visuals for a fourth single, “Rolling Dice”.

It’s a bit more stripped-back compared to the debut album, which featured an extensive roll-call of A-listers including Stormzy, Emeli Sandé, Mike Skinner and Popcaan. Instead, he’s kept his circle tight with Suspect, SD and Gee Splash providing the only guest verses. Production-wise he casts his net a little wider, calling on instrumentals from Ghosty, M1OnTheBeat, Madara Beatz, CZR Beats, F12 Beats, DefBeats, Pxtrik, Scratcha, JM-00, Lobo, Pxcoyo, Dave Crag, Rymez, Swaniker, JJ Beatz and Ayoludo.

If the high-profile collabs had you thinking Loski had forgotten his roots, Censored should put that firmly to bed.
