Even though Kodak Black and YoungBoy Never Broke Again have been at odds with each other for some time, the Florida rapper isn’t glad that YoungBoy has been arrested again.

“Nah, I ain’t happy YB went to jail,” Kodak said on Instagram Live. “Fuck I’m happy he went to jail for? That was my lil bruh at one point. The fuck I’m happy for? We street n****s, that could be anybody.”

A number of NBA’s family and friends have been heartbroken following his arrest in the Los Angeles area. Yaya Mayweather, who gave birth to the rapper’s son earlier this year, wrote that her “day has been completely ruined” on her Instagram Story.

YoungBoy’s mother, Sherhonda Gaulden also posted a message on IG to remind everyone to mind their own business.

Elsewhere, YoungBoy’s on-and-off girlfriend Jazlyn Mychelle tweeted a broken heart emoji, and rapper Jackboy—an associate of Kodak—offered to feed YoungBoy’s crew while he’s in jail.

YoungBoy was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly fleeing the FBI and LAPD, who were going after him for an outstanding federal warrant. When the FBI and LAPD spotted the rapper’s car, they pulled him over, but when the car came to a stop, the rapper made a run for it on foot. He was later apprehended and is now in FBI custody. He has been under federal investigation following his September 2020 arrest on drug and firearms charges in connection to a music video shoot that reportedly involved a large group of people wielding weapons.
