After conquering the music industry and fashion world, Kanye West is shifting his focus for his next business endeavor.

Per reports from TMZ and Rolling Stone, Kanye recently filed a trademark application (which is listed on the United States Patent and Trademark Office website) under his Mascotte Holdings, Inc. company to use “Donda” on a line of electronic products. The 44-year-old artist’s planned tech line will feature tablet computers, audio speakers, surround sound systems, smartwatches, and smart glasses. In addition, the creator of the Yeezy empire plans on putting “Donda” on jewelry such as smart rings.

“DONDA is a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas,” Kanye wrote in 2012 when he announced the brand on Twitter. “I am assembling a team of architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers, [A&Rs], writers, publicist, social media experts, app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionists.”

The news arrives just a month after ‘Ye’s Mascotte Holdings, Inc. filed a trademark application to use his name on a line of home decor products, which would feature shower curtains, towels, textile wall hangings, placemats, and an array of blankets.

Kanye’s move into the world of homeware comes just a year after Kim Kardashian announced her own home goods line. Last September, she secured the rights to KKW Home, which included plans to launch a range in stores that specialize in shower and bath items as well as bedroom furnishings and accessories.

It’s also worth noting that in July 2020, Mascotte Holdings filed a trademark for a beauty and skincare line, which would cover a number of cosmetics including makeup, nail polish, hair care, toothpaste, moisturizers, face masks, eyelashes, bath gels, shaving creams, fragrances, deodorant, and more.
