Future is maintaining the momentum of his No. 1 album I Never Liked You by dropping the psychedelic new visuals for his song “Puffin on Zootiez.”
One of many fan favorite tracks, viewers get to see a glimpse of Future’s world through rose-tinted glasses as scenes shift through dimly lit spaces with varying colors. Future remains the primary focus, with his silhouette being the clearest image throughout.
The video for “Puffin on Zootiez” differs from the others attached to I Never Liked You. The Atlanta rapper previously linked up with Drake in a video for their track “Wait for U” featuring Tems. It played into the “toxic king” tropes Future has become known for, taking on a medieval theme and finding both Drake and the Dirty Sprite rapper embarking on a quest to save their loves.
“Wait for U” and “Puffin on Zootiez” reflect two different sides of I Never Liked You—there’s the dizzying head rush from being in the club on one, then the soothing ride home with the lover you care about most on the other.
