For his latest offering, Conducta—a child of ‘90s New Jack Swing and classic grime as much as he is of UK garage—gives us a fresh helping of time-travelling UKG flavour, with his refined touch fitting like a glove over Coco’s high-octane, rave-ready bars and flow. The track is reminiscent of the energetic 2-step drum work found on Sunship, Sticky and Kele Le Roc records from the turn of the millennium, whilst still having a futuristic edge about it.
Just like last month’s deep house-tinged “Right Together” with Rachel Chinouriri, or April’s football-inspired bubbler “4-4-2” alongside Keeya Keys, Conducta continues to provide the club music circuit with crisp, out-of-the-box ideas that often set trends rather than adhere to industry standards.
