Boosie Badazz cleared up any rumored beef he allegedly had with Kevin Gates, saying he’s “never” had an issue with his fellow Louisiana rapper.

In a sit-down with VLADTV, Boosie shrugged off the idea of a rumored rift between the two rappers and said if there were any issues, the public would have known about it.

“Nah, I ain’t never had no issues with him,” Boosie said. “I ain’t never had no issues with him. If I’d have had an issue with him, it would have been known. I ain’t never had no issue with him.”

Bad blood was first reported between the pair back in 2009, when an affiliate of Gates named Nussie was murdered. Rumors suggested that Boosie had ordered the hit, but the “Wipe Me Down” rapper was found innocent of those charges in 2012. Tensions between the pair then seemed to escalate again in 2016, when their respective entourages appeared to scuffle onstage during a festival show in Louisville, Kentucky, where both rappers had been performing at the time.

“I can’t control who people do songs with,” Boosie said to Vlad in regard to Gates’s relationship with Nussie. “Kevin Gates ain’t never said he was coming out there for nobody. I ain’t never had nothing with no Gates.”

Boosie made headlines a few days ago when he slammed Kanye West for donning a controversial White Lives Matter t-shirt at his YZY SZN 9 premiere during Paris Fashion Week.

“@kanyewest After all we been through as a race you put this disrespectful shit on!!” Boosie wrote in all caps on Twitter. “U gives no fucks about how Blacks have died n suffered to the hands of the white man. N u say Bush don’t like Black people..really ‘n***a.’”

Ye ended up responding to Boosie and told the Baton Rouge rapper to not “speak on” him.

As for Gates, he was recently on a promotional run for his latest album Khaza, and during an interview stop on Yung Miami’s new talk show Caresha Please over the summer, got the internet talking when he opened up about the time he had sex with his cousin.

“I just got a question for you. If me and you meet, I put it on you. The right way. You dickmatized,” Gates said. “I introduce you to my grandma and then she’s like, ‘Baby who you people is?’ She pull me to the side and say, ‘Baby, that’s your cousin!’ I ain’t about to stop! The damage has been done. I didn’t know you my whole life. I just found this out. We’ve already been thuggin’. And we still good friends to this day.”
