Police Believe Club Promoters Could Be Behind Chris Brown's Home Invasion

An unkown amount of money was stolen from Brown's house earlier this week.

While details are still cloudy surrounding Chris Brown's home invasion case, police now believe that club promoters might have been behind the crime. According to TMZ, police are tracking a lead that goes back to promoters who recently paid Breezy $50,000 for a club appearance.

The report states that the robbers not only made it clear to Brown's aunt, who was held hostage during the incident, that they knew it was Breezy's house, but that they also slipped up and referenced the $50k while looking for the safe. Police believe that only a few people knew about that money and that Brown had still had it in his house at the time. No arrests have been made as of now in the case, but we will continue to update the story as more details emerge.
