Dame Dash has some serious boxing skills, according to a recent video shared online.
On Monday (Oct. 20), the music mogul posted an Instagram video of a gym session in which he put fists to a boxing bag. In the brief clip, Dash hit the device with a series of different types of punches.
Check out the video of his sparring session below.
Dash isn’t just attacking sparring bags in his free time. He’s also lashing out with legal threats against former partners, accusing them of fraud, defamation, and a coordinated $100 million scheme.
According to court filings from the Southern District of New York, Dash sent a formal notice on Sept. 17 revealing his intent to sue a group of people including filmmaker Josh Webber, actress Claudia Jordan, producer Tony White, and attorney Christopher Brown.
In his demand letter, the music mogul accused them of “fraud, perjury, theft of intellectual property, defamation, tortious interference, harassment, and financial manipulation,” alleging that he’s lost more than $100 million in damages because of them.
Dash claimed that he conceived, financed, and directed the movie Dear Frank (originally titled The List) but was removed from the project and never compensated for his efforts. He also claimed that the producers of the film and legal representatives conspired to misappropriate his work, remove him from its credits, and publicly defame him.
Elsewhere in the letter, Dash accused attorney Chris Brown of orchestrating “fraudulent litigation" through multiple coordinated lawsuits seemingly to damage his reputation and financial situation, leading the music mogul to file for bankruptcy.
Amidst other claims in the letter, Dash demanded that the accused parties issue public retractions, cease all of their defamatory activity, provide profit accountancy from the projects, and pay $100 million within 14 days or be subject to face a federal RICO lawsuit.
That’s not the only legal action that Dash has on the table — not even counting Webber’s attempts to get the massive judgment that he’s owed from the former Roc-a-fella co-owner and Dash's new bankruptcy filing. In September, Dash issued a $300 million legal threat to Cam’ron following the latter’s claims about him.
After Cam responded to Dash’s viral Breakfast Club appearance by claiming that he was “lying” about multiple topics, Dash hopped on Instagram to share a formal demand letter accusing Cam of defamation, business disparagement, tortious interference, harassment, unjust enrichment, and more.
“I never hustled with [Cam’ron],” Dame wrote in the caption of the post. “He’s a civilian, but he’s fucking with my family office and he’s now made my wife [and] two of my sons uncomfortable. I would never do anything violent. And I don’t want anyone that loves me to do anything violent, so this is the only way I can handle this.”
“So this is my version of how the Godfather handled Fredo,” Dash added. “I knew it was going to be one of my brothers I just didn’t know it was going to be you bro. And that does make me sad. We’ll just have to let a judge decide like businessmen. And I don’t find it funny.”
