In comments cited in a separate WTVJ report, Rolling Loud reps were quoted as saying there was thus far “no evidence of a fight, drugs, or heat-related illness” being involved in the man’s death.

A recently launched GoFundMe reveals Petrocchi was a “bright and ambitious student” at Clemson University in South Carolina. In fact, he was slated to graduate next month.

“It is with a heavy heart that we come together to remember and honor our beloved friend, Jordan Petrocchi,” a statement shared to the fundraiser site and credited to friends and family reads. “At the young age of 23, Jordan's life was tragically cut short, leaving us all devastated. As we mourn his untimely passing, we are coming together to support his family during this incredibly difficult time."

At the time of this writing, the GoFundMe had raised more than $6,400 of its listed goal of $10,000.

This year's Rolling Loud Miami festival was headlined by Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and ASAP Rocky. Additional performers included Ice Spice, Destroy Lonely, Sexyy Red, Latto, Turnstile, and more.
