Goddamn. As evidenced by this performance, Mac Miller's upcoming tour is going to bring a very special evening to each city.
Rolling Stone's Dan Hyman caught up with Miller earlier this month to discuss the new album at length, including the surely annoying tabloid nonsense that preceded it. "When you actually go out into the world and you get a lot of love from people you realize how little that shit actually matters," he said. "I've been in the tabloids so much randomly recently that I've realized that I just don't care what people think of me. Why stress things that you can't control?"
For his upcoming Swimming-promoting tour, Miller will be joined by J.I.D and "What's the Use?" collaborator Thundercat. "Swear to God, that was the first thing he played, like not even checking the notes or anything . . . He literally picked up the bass and that was the first thing he naturally did," Miller recently revealed of the excellent bass line at the center of the Swimming single. The tour, dates for which can be found above, kicks off in San Francisco Oct. 27.
