It Sounds Like Eminem Will Indeed Respond to Machine Gun Kelly's "Rap Devil" Diss

Eminem's 'Kamikaze' era will seemingly continue with a response to Machine Gun Kelly's "Rap Devil," which was itself a response to Em's attack on younger artists.

It sounds like Eminem will indeed be issuing a formal response to Machine Gun Kelly's "Rap Devil."

im standing up for not just myself, but my generation. im doing the same shit you did back in ur day. life is still real on my side, and i had to take time from the grind to defend myself from someone i called an idol. love, Rap Devil.

In a new interview with Skoglund16 TV, Shady Records-signed producer (and D12 affiliate) Mr. Porter confirmed that Em is currently in the studio working on an unrelated project. An MGK response, however, is said to also be on the to-do list.

"Right now, he in there working," Porter said. "We doing something else right now, but trust me, we'll get to it. I'll tell you this: I wouldn't wanna be [Machine Gun Kelly]. It's great that you took that opportunity and did that, hey, kudos to you, good for you. The one thing that I'm worried about . . . You remember when Thanos threw that whole planet at Iron Man?" According to Porter, Em's eventual response will be akin to that.

EM and MGK's issues date back to at least 2012, when MGK made a comment about Em's daughter—who was 16 at the time— being "hot as fuck." On his surprise-dropped Kamikaze album last week, Em shared his current thoughts on the subject in the track "Not Alike."

The 13-track Kamikaze, complete with an obvious Beastie Boys homage on the cover, is now projected to open to the tune of 360,000 equivalent album units. Regardless of the final numbers, the album will most certainly net Em his ninth No. 1 on the Billboard 200, following last year's Revival.

But anyway, let's see Em pull this off:
