Earl Sweatshirt is sending everyone off into Wednesday afternoon with something quite special.
Up top, you'll find Earl's new short film Nowhere, Nobody. The eight-minute visual was co-directed by Naima Ramos-Chapman and Terence Nance. Earl is joined in the short's cast by Phillip E. Walker, Semere-Ab Etmet Yohannes, Lisa Gaines, LaDiamond Blue, Maddox Dutton, Ian Randolph, and Aria Williams. The short opens on Earl arguing with a referee at a kids' basketball game. From there, any further written description of Nowhere, Nobody would just do it a disservice.
Wednesday also brought the surprise announcement of a Some Rap Songs-supporting tour. The aptly named Thebe Kgositsile Presents: A Tour Starring Earl Sweatshirt & Friends kicks off March 23 in New Orleans:

Earl, newly free to engage in "riskier shit" after completing his contract with Columbia, preceded the Wednesday double announcement with a new drop from his Deathworld line last week. In the Nowhere, Nobody short, he's seen rocking a Deathworld hoodie.
"Figuring out how you can be radical from within the system breaks your head," he told Pitchfork earlier this month.
If Earl's "riskier shit" plans means more short films, then the next chapter of Sweatshirt is going to be staggeringly rewarding for fans.
