As one of the more visible (online) and easily identifiable (in person) rappers in London, you could be forgiven for failing to realise musical output from Mikill Pane has been at something of a minimum recently. In actual fact, a near two-year hiatus has only recently been breached with the drop of last week's Let MC It EP. A quirky offering, produced entirely by The Last Skeptik, features on the set include Giggs, Scrufizzer, Trim and more.

Today, Mikill Pane drops accompanying visuals for one of the standout tracks, "GNGSTRS". A dark, brooding effort, he weaves his way through as confidently as ever and delivers some clever social commentary. Even the location it was shot in—Pane's hometown: the once crime-hotspot-turned-gentrified-trend-spot of Hackney—appears to add further depth to his lyrical content. Filmed in one-take by Jayga Rayn of High Horse Studios, it's one of the more impressive videos you're likely to encounter this year. Peep the animated movie exclusively above.
