Producer-turned-vocalist 169 is back with new music in the form of "Crazy", his new single featuring Jaz Karis.
Over twinkling piano keys, the pair duet for a slow-burning slice of atmospheric R&B, signalling the continued growth in potential from one of British music's new major players.
Listing influences from across the spectrum of contemporary R&B and rap, 169 calls on a dark trap-soul infused sound for his solo work, as heard on 2018's introductory EP Seasons. With production credits for the likes of Headie One, Dave and Big Zuu in recent months (he and Dave co-produced "Funky Friday" last year), whether in the booth or behind it, there's a lot more from 169 to come.
