Mystifying alt-pop singer and producer PinkPantheress has had a hell of a year.

After dropping the viral hits “Passion”, “Break It Off” and getting sampled by the rapper Central Cee on his latest effort “Obsessed With You”, the UK artist has shared her newest single, “I Must Apologise”, which is expected to appear on her upcoming mixtape, To Hell With It.

Co-produced by Oscar Scheller, the track samples ‘90s house classic “Gypsy Woman”, by Crystal Waters. “I Must Apologise” is another helping of PinkPantheress’ signature formula, where she reworks past hits in new and innovative ways. Home to breakneck drum work and glossy chord arrangements, the track is topped off with light and breezy vocals throughout.

“I’m super excited to share this project with you all as my first body of work,” she says of To Hell With It, which is due on October 15 via Parlophone. “I’ve been collecting songs that I’ve made this year, and while I’m still developing my sound, I’m hoping these songs immerse you into your ideal fantasy world as you listen.”

Just like last month’s “Just For Me”, “I Must Apologise” is shaping up to be another juggernaut for the young talent. Equipped with an imitable style and a transformative blend of pop, funk, R&B, garage and trip-hop, PinkPantheress has anchored herself as one of the breakout viral stars of 2021.
