If you're hawking our posts and following our SoundCloud, BSN Posse won't be new to you. We featured a compilation that Russia's OWWWN imprint gave out for free a couple of weeks ago and instructed you to grab the first edition of their series while you were grabbing the second installment that the featured Pixelord tune was on. We literally drew a map. If you followed suit, there's a sick banger from this destructive duo from Spain sitting there waiting for you to enjoy. That said, BSN Posse seem to be in full flex mode this summer, and are following their last release with an EP called Soul Rhythm, which is set to drop on Freshmoon Records on August 25.
Featuring only label heads MoonDoctoR & FreshtillDef, this four-track release adds truly pulls footwork into a new direction with beautiful melody and emotional vocal samples. The lead single "I'on Need U" was premiered on THUMP last week, and Freshmoon decided to follow up this week with a free download of a cut that didn't make the album called "Costa Del Soul" that features some flamenco guitar licks, heartfelt vocals, and organic drums. It's absolutely marvelous, and won't be included in the EP.
