JayDaYoungan has shared the video for "Elimination."
It lives on the 20-year-old's latest mixtape 23and features a sing-song rap style over a guitar instrumental with a similar vibe to the various cuts we have heard producer Turbo cook up for acts like Gunna and Lil Baby. Throughout the Jay Legion-directed video, JayDaYoungan switches between a handful of nighttime locations, including a graffiti-laden wall, and in front of a city skyline alongside a man dancing.
Hailing from Bogalusa, Louisiana, JayDaYoungan is gaining some national attention less than two years into his career as the small-town rapper has already racked up more than 244 million total streams. When speaking on his recording process, he explains, "I don’t like to hear anything or hear anybody talking. I just like to think. I just think about the past. That’s what people want to hear; they want to hear what they couldn’t see."
