Steve-O Recalls Raekwon Threatening to Knock Him Out Onstage for Disrespecting Ol’ Dirty Bastard

Steve-O has revealed Raekwon still won't talk to him over the stunt he pulled during an Ol' Dirty Bastard tribute at 2006's Rock the Bells Festival.

On Tuesday, the Jackass veteran hopped on Facebook and shared a video of himself reflecting on the time the Chef was pissed off after Steve-O got completely naked onstage and did a backflip, all while the Wu-Tang Clan paid tribute to their fallen soldier. It didn't help that the group also brought the late rapper's mother out.

According to Steve-O, he was introduced to ODB's mother before grabbing the mic and introducing himself to the festival crowd. He then got naked, flicked his penis back and forth, then performed a backflip. The Wu-Tang Clan went on to perform ODB's classic "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" and Steve-O thought all was good until Raekwon cut the music.

"He grabs me by my neck and drags me to the front of the stage," the 49-year-old recalled before viewers got a glimpse of Raekwon threatening him at the festival.

"I didn't appreciate that, and I'm gonna tell you right now," Rae said, holding Steve by his neck. "You gonna apologize or I'm gonna knock you out in front of all these people. I'm not playing, straight up. That was disrespectful. I'm ready to fuck you up so you better apologize right now, and I'm going to chill, straight up."

Steve-O apologized to the group and their fans before Raekwon grabbed the microphone and demanded he apologize to ODB's mother, which he did in a heartbeat.

"After that, I was allowed to go, and security told us that I really should go because I was definitely not safe," Steve-O said. "Of course, I was totally humiliated by the experience, and ever since then, I've done everything I can to express that I meant no disrespect."

Steve-O said he spoke to Method Man and RZA, who understood why he did the stunt from an artist's perspective, but the same couldn't be said about Raekwon, who refuses to speak to him.

"Raekwon is not interested in talking to me about it," Steve-O added. "If I ever do get the chance to meet Raekwon, I hope that we can be cool. But if he makes me apologize again, I absolutely will very quickly, and Wu-Tang forever."

According to Steve-O, the whole incident was inspired by the time he landed in the same cell that ODB had formerly occupied in the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, California. The entertainer was stoked as he considered the rap legend "the king of not giving a fuck."

He ended up performing with ODB one night in New York City and said the rapper had his penis out and smoked a blunt laced with PCP. Steve-O realized he was a huge fan after Dirt McGirt fell into a deep high at the show.

Despite paying tribute to ODB in his own way, Steve said Meth told him not to pull the stunt because there were people there who would beat him up once he did the stunt. Fortunately, that didn't happen, and Steve-O was able to leave in one piece that night, even if his rapport with Raekwon did not.
