Snoop Dogg has revealed why he thinks he hasn't been invited to Jay-Z's Roc Nation Brunch, and the reason may be surprising to many.
During his appearance on the F3LLAS PODCAST, hosted by comedians HaHa Davis and BlackBarry, the Doggfather spoke about his lack of attendance at Hov's annual pre-Grammys bash and said the reason is that people may get jealous over his fit.
"Don't feel bad n***a, me neither," Snoop said after Davis admitted he has yet to get an invite to one of the biggest parties of the year. "I know why they don't want me to come, 'cause I'm a be the sharpest. They know when I walk in, my outfit gon' turn everything out. So they're like, 'Keep that n***a away.'"
He added, "Nah, it's all good. I fuck with Jay — that's my guy. I just ain't had time to slide through to one of those brunches. Maybe next time we can all go together, we'll roll up in there together. Just come in there with a linen outfit — I think you gotta have on linen."
This isn't the first time someone has reflected on not receiving the coveted invite to Jay-Z's annual shindig. In March, Marlon Wayans couldn't figure out why he hadn't been invited yet when he's been to other parties hosted by people like Diddy.
In May, LL Cool J recalled a time when he laughed at Hov's lyrics back in high school and claimed that's why he hadn't been invited to the brunch either.
"Look, I hardly remember that stuff," he told Big Boy in May. "I love everybody. I don't have no problems with none of these guys, man. If I laughed — okay, so what? Laugh at me. How many people have you laughed at, or snapped on, in the lunch room? I don't even remember it! I laughed at you, so now I can't have no brunch?"
