Dru Hill Challenge Boyz II Men, Jagged Edge, and More to 'Verzuz' Battle: 'Whoever Want It Can Get It'

Dru Hill has emerged as the next R&B group eager to get into the 'Verzuz' ring, and judging from their Instagram call-out, it seems they want all the smoke.

Dru Hill has emerged as the next R&B group eager to get into the Verzuz ring, and they want all the smoke.

After Fat Joe and Ja Rule traded hits on the Verzuz stage last week, the legendary R&B group has decided that they want to be next to step up to the plate. The quartet took to Instagram to call out anyone who would be up to the challenge but zeroed in on Boyz II Men, Jodeci, 112, and Jagged Edge.

“Pretty much we’ll do a Verzuz against anybody,” they said in the video.

“Whoever want it can get it,” Sisqó added. “Whether it’s Jodeci, Boyz II Men...I’ll tell you what, how about maybe, like, 112 and Jagged Edge could combine to one group, and then they might have a chance with us.” The group clarified that any worthy contender would have to “sing for real.”

While 112 and Jagged Edge already had an R&B showdown on Verzuz last year, seeing Dru Hill face off against Boyz II Men or Jodeci would be legendary. All three groups had a string of massive hits in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and fans were quick to sound off on social media about how they’d feel if the group stepped into the Verzuz ring.

Sisqo just better off doin his own verzuz and singing only his Dru Hill parts 😂😂 https://t.co/Ic05HwiVmS

I really like the old Dru Hill but they are not beating Jodeci and definitely not Boyz to Men in a Verzuz Battle..... pic.twitter.com/54tCrGixoh
