With Drake's upcoming It's All A Blur tour set to begin later this week, the Toronto rapper took to Instagram to bid a temporary farewell to the city that made him.

"Goodbye my beautiful city," Drake wrote on his Instagram story. "I haven't left for this reason in almost 6 years but I hope I can make you proud once again. I love you all. Have an amazing summer and pls try to take care of each other."

"See you in October," he concluded, referencing the two shows he'll be performing in Toronto that month.

Drake will be performing in various cities in the US before heading toward Canada in mid-July for a show in Montreal.

He'll be back in August for his show in Vancouver before ultimately returning to Toronto to cap off the tour.

It's also worth noting that 21 Savage will be absent from the Canadian dates.

It also effectively ends any speculation that he might try to wedge an OVO Fest-type surprise for his city around July or August. The Toronto tour closer will likely feature a bunch of guests.
