GoldLink has really gained quite a buzz this year, based mostly on his The God Complex project and with the help of some loosies along the way. His latest song, "Sober Thoughts," produced by Kaytranadawill really resonate with anyone who has ever had an addictive relationship. You know, the type of relationships that consume your entire life until they're over, and you know it's better off but you still end up sobbing for days? Yes, those relationships.

Case in point: GoldLink explains that the song is about an unhealthy relationship, one where the two mistreated each other out of spite. "We knew we should stop, but we kept going," he said in the press release. "In the end, I ask God for his help by saying, 'You may not come when I want you, but you right on time.'"

Kaytranada's production is the perfect balance between new and old sounds—while GoldLink's lines like "Addiction is the purest way of love" will tug at your heart strings and conscience.
