Along with the highly anticipated album release date, Rae Sremmurd also shared the first chapter of the accompanying short film.
The duo had previously shared a teaser for the film, and it looks like a slightly surreal look at a semi-fictional Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi getting up to crazy antics in a suburban neighborhood.
The idea for the film is not all that different from real descriptions of the duo’s living situation in California. An interview with Billboard published earlier this month, for example, revealed that the two live in the “suburban San Fernando Valley” near Los Angeles, with an entourage of dogs, a capuchin monkey, as well as a baby spider monkey. In the entrance of their home, there are two large 3-D portraits of the two brothers, dressed in jackets and jewels.
