As much as we don't want to admit it, summer is basically over. While we are mourning the loss of long days and warm temperatures, Jhvye has dropped an EP that eases some of the pain and provides the perfect soundtrack to the last days of the season that seems to take forever to come and then leave too quickly (Can you tell I'm upset yet? I digress).
Dusk to Dawn is a nimble two tracks and despite what the name suggests, the songs are far from sleepy or overly emotional cuts about sleepless lonely nights. This is no frills, uplifting, laid back and low key R&B, reminiscent of Jeremih's Late Nights or Frank Ocean's The Lonny Breaux Collection.
