Youngs Teflon's long-awaited EP, The Jungle Book, is finally out and has caused UK rap Twitter to lose its collective shit. The 6-track project (featuring Scorcher and Renz) marks a growth in the Brixton MC's career—storytelling, delivery, and production-wise—and on the joint "WDYM", it most definitely shows: "Remember when the industry didn't wanna give me a retweet? I remember them times/ Now I got your favourite rapper all in my DMs, begging for a feat." He spits that line in a snarky, boastful tone, but the struggle's been real and he's clearly overcome it.
