Ever since the picture of Skengdo x AM and Chief Keef surfaced last month, UK drill fans have been chomping on their ballies to see what said link up was in aid of. Well, today, that is all made clear via a new collab track entitled "Pitbulls".

The king of drill has teamed up with arguably UK drill's most rated duos of the moment for this eerie keys-laced, 808s-loaded number full of bando-inspired rhymes and a sleek set of visuals filmed out in LA. It's no secret that UK drill has had a terrible year when it comes to the press, but that hasn't stopped the artists from selling out shows and notching up plays in their millions online. At this point, it's gone past being a UK rap trend.

Speaking on the influence of Chief Keef on British rap, AM told Complex: "Most of us in the drill scene right now listened to Chief Keef in school, so for me and Skeng to be on the same track and stand right next to him shows we're doing something right. A lot of artists are shying away from drill, but me and Skeng are owning this shit — even if no one else wants to. The police stuff and negative press around drill was just an obstacle, so I hope we can set new levels and a new perception." Skengdo went on to add: "The experience was mad! We see ourselves in the top-tier of the UK drill scene so to do a track with someone like Chief Keef, who created this drill genre, is a huge milestone for ourselves and the whole UK drill movement."

"Pitbulls" will appear on Greener On The Other Side, Skengo x AM's new 7-track EP (due Oct. 12) via MOVES Recordings. Watch the J.R. Saint-directed video exclusively above.
