We already knew Drake is a talented wordsmith in his own right with a talent for hooks and a master at the art of subliminal diss lines. Now, someone has come along and given us a whole new way to look at Drake. David F Brand translated Drake's "Hotline Bling"into Shakespearean-style meter or more appropriately titled, Drakespeare. Read the full rap poem below as you contemplate what a time it is to be alive. You already know that this is better than some of those other interpretations like that Gospel version of "Hotline Bling" nobody asked for. Read "When Thy Messenger Alights" below and be sure to check out David's website where he has Shakespeare translations of Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day,” Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy,” and Slick Rick’s “Children’s Story.” here.
